I created this project during the third semester of the M.A.T. program at ETSU using a blank template provided by the instructor. I actually used a similar version to give my intro students a review and it went exceptionally well. I also used a similar project in my Theatre Methods course and the professor for the class requested a copy of the template he liked it so well. This project is an excellent source for review. The interactive nature of this lesson motivates student involvement and encourages a healthy competitive spirit.

Description of the ‘relative advantage’ of any and all technology being used in this instructional activity: This instructional activity is based on technology. The activity uses a non-linear power point presentation to simulate a Jeopardy game in the classroom with relatvie content as the questions and answers. Without technology, it would not be possible to do this activity. The desired technology needed for this activity would be a computer with power point presentation software, jeopardy template, and a smart board. These educational technologies make this activity possible. This activity engages students in their own learning process, encourages healthy competition amoung students, and is a great alternative to direct instruction in the classroom; all possible with technology. |
